Residency: Cathedral and Collegiate Church of St Mary, St Denys and St George, Manchester

A group of 20 Mercians gathered together in Manchester to provide music for the Cathedral's services over the weekend, accompanied once again by Ben Giddens on the brand new Stoller Organ, built by Tickell & co.

Carolling on a Tram


6 intrepid Mercians embarked on an epic journey of tramming courtesy of NET to raise money for Framework.  A little bit of heckling and lots of generosity later, we raised £134.59, and enjoyed a well-deserved pint afterwards!

A day of fun carolling on Nottingham NET tram network, flashmobbing unsuspecting passengers into donating £185 for mental health charity MIND

Members of Mercia Chorale sang with a Nottingham-based Viol consort as part of an early music concert fundraising for Nepal at Christ Church, Chilwell.
